Eric McAlpine is the "Stream Team" studio host, also known as "The Voice of Inspiration". Eric comes from London, the capital of England. He is a DJ, a former professional squash player and a doubles world backgammon champion in 2017.

Gianlazzaro Sanna

Gianlazzaro Sanna is the "Stream Team" technical host. Gianlazzaro comes from Cagliari, the capital of the beautiful Italian island Sardinia. He is a former chess player and captain of Team Italy, current online world team champions.

Bogidar Iliev

Bogidar Iliev is the "Stream Team" organising host. Bojo comes from the Bulgarian capital Sofia. 22 years ago he established "Slavia Backgammon Club" and ever since preserving traditional tabla and developing backgammon societies have become his missions.

SLAVIA OPEN

The first tournament that brought "Stream Team" together in 2021 was "Slavia Open". Known also as "The 21-Syndrome" due to the match length, this tournament is getting more and more attractive each year for players from all over the world.

The Best of The Best

"Stream Team" together with WBIF (World Backgammon Internet Federation) is organising each year "The Best of The Best". The Top 8 players, according to the WBIF PR Ranking, are competing in "Win & Skill" format in best of 5 matches.
